has anyone ever seen a question about fungi classification on the real DAT? There seems to be a couple of questions in every DAT achiever test. do i need to study it?

yeah which classifications should we know?
kaplan doesnt really go though it

I hate classifications. specially fungi, o gush, so many of them under different groups. why can't they all be bacterias🙂 (it's the easiest to memorize)
okay I know I'm going insane/crazy/out of my mind.... been studing since 8. my day is over!!

what books are good for learning classifications?

If you took KAPLAN course, there's a section on classifications in review book, which is not that bad plus you can supplement with Campbell but not everything b/c it has way too much stuff,,,,,,try to get solid ideas about every kingdom....trust u will be fine...........and when u take practice exams if u see some questions on classification always read the answers even if u know it, u might get more info from there.........well that's about it.......good luck

kaplan has like nothing on classifications and when i take topscore, i see random stuff on classifications that ive never seen???? Do all of you study taxonomy and classifications for all things???

on page 723 there's a chapter on classification, it's not too detailed but pretty much what we need to know,,,,,just concentrate on five kingdoms: Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae(not bad discussion in kaplan)and animal. I read some fellows have blue book maybe it's different from what u have, but the one that I have is from KAPLAN COURSE (thick white/blue book). Didn't do topscore yet, can't say much..........sorry...

yeah thanks! I have already studied the kaplan stuff, and i took the class. i just feel like some people post on here about knowing about every single classification, and i hope we dont need to know that cause my test is in a week... and i dont know shiat about that

ppl post a lot of stuff my dear.🙂
I've heard the early earth stuff is much more emphasized and is not really reviewed in kaplan. don't worry too much about classifications...
