So I was browsing through this month's issue of Texas Medicine, which is put out by the Texas Medical Association. There's an article in there called "San Antonio Medical Students Treat Katrina Victims," which unfortunately isn't directly linked, which talked about TX med students helping out with the recent disaster.
Anyway, this is relevant b/c the very first picture in the article [and a big one, I might add] was of a DMU student taking care of a pt. You could see the emblem on her White Coat. Not exactly a "Texas medical student." 😉 Perhaps she might have been doing an away rotation here at UTHSCSA....
