When filling out the experience part of the AMCAS, is it ok to write experiences that you haven't done yet like volunteering in a hospital over the summer? If I submit the application in June, I won't have had much time with this experience even though I'd be doing it for a summer.

Hey, so I called AMCAS about this because I have an internship that's only during the second half of the summer, and they said it was fine to put the current date as the start date and put "Until Present" as the end date, and then just state in the description box the actual dates of whatever you're doing.

I'd do it as long as the future activity is set in stone. It would suck to have an interviewer ask you about the activity, and you ended up not doing it.
