I took the DAT last week and didn't do as well as I would like. I am planning on retaking the test in 3 months. I am trying to decide of it is worth applying early and marking the spot which says future DAT date, or just applying later? What do the schools do with the application if it says future dat? It seems to me they probably wouldn't even look at your app until it is complete.

I would not wait until later to apply. Go ahead and apply now and indicate you will be taking the DAT in the future. They will most likely hold onto your application until they get your new DAT scores. If you apply now, they will at least have everything ready and your application on file. Once you re-take the DAT, fax them your unofficial scores until they receive your official copy, that way they can start reviewing. BTW, what were your DAT scores if you don't mind me asking? If they are high enough, you may not need to re-take it.

DAT 18 AA/ 18TS/ 19 bio/ 18 gchem / 18ochem / 20 QR / 17 RC / 19 PAT
