hi all...i just started my third year rotations and as i watched my 52-year old attending consolidate the remaining $40,000 of her student debt over the phone it struck me...i should start planning NOW for loan forgiveness options. Have any of you heard of the Indian Health Services loan forgiveness program? it's pretty generous... my only concern is, i can't seem to find anyone online who's had experience with it. I'd love to do it but i know the reality is somewhere between idyllic native american paradise and the most depressing place on earth...and it's a 2-year committment. any words of wisdom or secondhand experiences to share?
