Sorry if this is a simple question; I've been trying to search the archives but couldn't find a definitive answer.

I have yet to take a 2nd semester of English (AP tested out of one), and I know that a lot of schools require 2 semesters. However, unlike AMCAS, I understand that I can't list future courses if they aren't on my transcript (I'm planning on taking this in Spring 2016).

Is there a chance that I won't pass a pre-screen because I don't have all my pre-requisites? Where would be a good place to mention this my future courses that aren't listed on my transcript?

I'm also a little curious about the General Chemistry requirement. Most require a full year of General Chemistry, but UC Berkeley only offers 1 class for general chemistry. Do schools typically know this/understand this exception?

You can't list courses that aren't on your transcript? Are you sure?

That's what I was seeing from perusing the archives. I'm not seeing a space where you can mark "Current/Future" like you can for AMCAS, other than putting semester/year.

From what I found here, people have mentioned that if you put a future course that isn't displayed on your transcript, there is a high likelihood that AACOMAS will call out the error and won't verify your application until it is shown, or until you take off said courses.

Maybe @Goro can clarify?

I see. That happened to me when I applied last cycle so it makes sense why you don't want to put the course on there.

I don't think you'll get prescreened out. Just state that you are taking the course on the secondary and you should be fine.

Well I hope that is not true because I just submitted mine today including three future courses and one current one and it let me mark all of them as current/future.

You can list future courses in the transcript entry section. Just check the box marked planned/w/e

No idea about Berkeley. You'd have to contact the individual schools.

Thanks, think I might do just that.

I just realized that there is a checkbox for that now, silly me. However, I was worried about the whole not-appearing-on-transcript problem and wanted to get other people's thoughts.
