There hasn't been a Galway thread in over 2 years so I thought it might be time to start a new one.

I have been accepted to the 6 year program at Galway and am looking for information about the school in general (and detail)

What are the best student accomodations, pros and cons of the school, tips and tricks to remember, moving to Galway.... etc

I haven't really seen any one else get accepted to Galway, so if you have been give me a shout!!

... i guess the fact that only 4 people got accepted to NUI doesn't help! But if your one of those four, give me shout I want to hear your opinion on recidencies

Hey! I am also going to Galway in fall 2009. I haven't heard much about residences, moving to Galway and such. From what I have read, the residences are independently managed and you apply to each separately. Have you heard anything else? It's great to hear from someone else going to Galway as well!

P.S. By 4 people, do you mean only 4 North Americans were accepted into the 6 year program? How did you hear this?

I asked Mr. Nealon about how many spots were available and he said four...
But ya I am super excited I just have to finish off 3 more exams and get a 90% and I am all set. I am staying in Corrib Village by the way. Where are you from Norton

Yea, that's not many spots. Why do you have to maintain a 90% average, cuz on my acceptance letter it said I only had to maintain an 85% ave... do you have an email/fb or something? lol, i don't really know how this forum works so I don't know how to send you a private message...

My name is Pishoy Gouda from Leduc you can facebook me! or [email protected] is my email if that doesn't work for you. But ya on my acceptance is is asking to maintain a 90% average in 6 subjects of my choosing... weired double standards. Are you in IB or something... bc i am just in a regular school
