Game Face for Step 2 CS

So I have a bit of a problem with self-control (facial expressions) when standardized patients, attendings, and/or "gunners" talk endlessly for 5 minutes really really quickly in tangential bullschit speech.

I'd hate to take the Step 2 CS and bomb it because one of the standardized patients is a crackwhore who snorted too much crack cocaine, and I burst out laughing despite trying my best to bite my tongue.

Any ideas on getting through a case like this if I open the door on the Step 2 CS and this is what I find?

i think the over riding guidance on CS is just to behave as you would with a real pt. the whole test is pretty ridiculous when you think about it. i'm sure you don't laugh or make faces when pt tell you about personal details! so if you treat it this way, you should be fine

actually had an sp who was a coke slut. even looked like one.
i couldn't help it, i chuckled..who wouldn't...wanted to ask her where she partied...had to remind myself she was just a hot actress.

Some of them are really terrible actors/actresses which makes it even harder to take them seriously. I love when they try to look butt hurt when you call them out on stuff. Hilarious.
