Gap year prompt

Sorry if this is overly neurotic, but is there a difference between "Describe what you have been doing since graduation" vs "Describe what you are doing this academic year"? Is it okay to just start from after graduation for both prompts? I have two gap years which is why they're different.

If it says "this year" they only want that year.
