Gen. chem 2

So Im currently in general chemistry 2 in the fall semseter of my sophomore year. This is class is honestly not me, I love chem but i can do well in all of my science classes besides this one. So what advice can you guys give me to do better. Also in my gen chem 1 class i got a C in lab, and i currently have a A in gen chem 2 lab.. Should i retake gen chem 1 lab or will the A show my improvement.

You may get better advice from your professor/TAs than from us.

At my school, gen chem 2 seemed like it was just plug-n-chug math problems involving the same equations over and over, so practice, practice, practice was the best solution for me. I only had a lab for gen chem 1, and not gen chem 2, so I'd maybe hold off on retaking the first lab if you pull an A in the 2nd lab.

Gen Chem 2 is the only C on my transcript; It was the semester I got married, and I felt bad studying hard and leaving my new wife alone all the time. I retook and got an A.

honestly out of all the science course ive taken gen chem 2 was the hardest. i would take O chem or P chem over Chem 2 any day lol

But maybe thats just me

Yeah thats what I was thinking that its just lab, but my dad is a pharmacist and he was saying that lab is important since as dentist we do work in labs our whole lives.

Does the lab grade itself go on your transcript?...Lab is just 15% of your final grade in my class.

I HATED Chem II! At my school, we took the ACS exam as the final (covered chem I & II). There is a study guide that you can order for $15-20. I used it and also used an AP exam for general chemistry study guide. Chem II has me petrified to tackle Organic.

Yeah my school it is two seperate grades and also the ACS exam is the final, so by far this class is my worst nightmare

You hardly touched the surface of your science courses but you are confident you can do well in all your future science courses.
