Thought it would be neater and useful to some of us if perhaps a thread was dedicated for each section for questions. (Don't castrate me if this was done already and I just can't find it)


Q. In CuBr2 why is Cu 28.4%? Why isn't Br counted twice?

It is -

Cu - MW = 63.5
Br - MW = 79.9 (x2)
__________________
Total MW - 223.3

(63.5 / 223.3) x 100 = 28.4%
