On the DAT is it easy to recognize which topic each problem is talking about or do questions incorporate a variety of topics? Like if I see a problem will I know to think of colligative properties, or to think about kinetics, thermodynamics, etc...?

I feel like I have a good grasp on the individual topics but since the questions aren't in some order I'm wondering if it is easy to know how to tackle each problem once you see it.

You will be able to recognize what the problem is based on how well you know what is going on. If I'm having trouble figuring out what equation is needed for the problem, I like to write down what variable they are given and what is needed, usually at that point I can figure it out.
