I've seen a lot of posts about how the gen chem section on the DAT has a lot of conceptual questions. Does Chad and Destroyer adequately prepare for the conceptual questions or should I use another study material like the KBB? I have the information in Chad's videos/quizzes and Destroyer down but I would say 95% of the problems are calculations and not conceptual. Thank you for any advice!

I don't know what anyone else is talking about regarding conceptual questions, and that freaked me out before my test. Chads and destroyer got me a 28 in genchem. I think if you know the concepts thise sources cover, you'll be golden. But you do actually need to know them 😀 For instance if you were given a question about acid/base or solubility (for some reason these always go together in my mind) you would need to be able to answer a calculation question, but it would also be fair for them to ask something conceptual along with it such as if the q you calculate is greater or smaller than the Ksp, and what that means (more dissolve or some precip). That was a question I think I saw in chads moreso than in destroyer, but both are good resources.
