Hi All,

I take my DAT in a week and I am seriously nervous about gen chem. I took the top score exams and I did pretty poorly. I knew most material but I kept getting bogged down in calculations. I did much better on bootcamp exams.

Is the gen chem section of the real dat easier to move through quickly? / Did anyone find it easier in general?

Through many years of working with students preparing for the DAT I have concluded that there are many different versions of the DAT some are more calculation based on GenChem,while another test might be more theory, or you might have a mixture. That is why is it very important to prepare for whatever may come your way.

Good luck on your DAT and there is no shame in rescheduling the DAT if you are not feeling fully prepared.

dont worry about if its easier or not focus on what you got wrong and attack those. U got a week left u need to start feeling confident
