General Achiever question for post-DATers

Just took the Achiever RC and a really annoying thing happens everytime you go the next question. The passage resets to the first paragraph so you lose your place and have to scroll back down. In Topscore the passage stays where it is and you can jump from question to question.

My question is... Is the actual DAT format more like Topscore or Achiever in this respect?


Also, does missing 3 out of 50 questions constitute a score of 22? For Achiever #1 RC I missed 3 and got 22 and for Topscore #1 RC I missed 8 and got a 21 (also missing 4 on the same test gets you a 25). What the hell is right?

yea i wish i had known that before i took it. i only used topscore to practice the RC. wasnt helpful at all. but now you know so you can be better prepared and ace it.

thats only cuz one of passages was hella easy about the autonomic nervous system or else i woulda been screwed.

one thing to note also is that the paragraphs on the real DAT are really short. it makes searching for answers very easy, i finished with 20 minutes to spare, so dont worry too much 😀.

Correction...I missed 6 so ? is void...woops.
