What is a quick way of multiplying / dividing numbers like 1.3 x 10 ^-9 and 3.5 x 10^-6 without a calculator?
Or when going from pH to [H+].. if the pH is 8.5, how do I know that the [H+] is 3.16 x 10^9 ?
I remember chad going over these videos in the coursesaver.com site when I watched them last year but now I am watching them on his new website and the videos are slightly different and he is using calculators in all his videos. But on coursesaver.com he teaches you techniques on how to come to the correct answer without a calculator.
