general questions regarding applications please help!

Hello, I'm thinking of applying this cycle and had some general questions...please help answering!

1) i know every part of ur app is important but if u could breakdown by their importance what would it be in general? ie GPA 30%/DAT30%/interview 20%/extracurriculars10%/LOR 5%/personal statement 5%

2) how do schools evaluate u after interviews? is it 100% based on the interview or do they still look at ur marks etc?

3) is it okay if u don't have ALL the prereq before you apply? do schools frown upon u because ur lacking them and u get deductions? i'm missing only one and will prob take it during the yr but just worried...

4) can u update ur file after u have submitted? like can u update ur app on AADAS while ur still under review? im asking because i prob will be shadowing more during summer and would like to add in the hours...

5) r u at a disadvantage if u dont have like 100 hrs of shadowing before u apply? and is it bad if u started shadowing very recently...?

6) in general how early is early to be considered for first round of interviews? and by this do ppl mean the day when AADAS says complete?

1.. not to sure about, but i think it depends on the school itself bc some schools look at DAT more than GPA and some schools want to see a lot of EC's.

2. no clue.

3. it is okay to apply before you have finished all the prereqs, you just have to have the prereqs finished before you begin d school.

4. im pretty sure you can update your aadsas after you submit, but im not 100% sure. So call aadsas if you'd like.

5. i dont think you are at a disadvantage if you dont have 100 hours, but that also depends on which school and which other EC's you have.

6. To be considered for 1st round of acceptances, i think you should submit by early july, but aadsas opens june 3rd. So the earlier the better.
