I have a few questions about applications in general. Thanks in advance.

1. I will be getting 2 supportive letters from non-science profs, but 1 (as of now) mostly generic letter from a science prof. He just so happens to be one of the most renowned, distinguished professors at my school. Would schools take that into account when seeing how generic it may be?

2. Would you recommend I retake Orgo 1? I got a C the first time, but got an B+ in Orgo 2. Would this show schools that I managed to figure Orgo out and a retake isn't needed?
