So, I just have a quick question. In terms of being most useful should I enroll in a genetics and society/ or Intro to Psychology? I'm already taking:

Linear Algebra --- 3
Computer Architecture ---3
Software Engineering --- 3
Scientific Application Computing ---3
Applied Violin --- 2
Orchestra ---1

(or should I take a break? I've been doing a full schedule for the past two semesters, and I recently just got a job)

Thanks

Having had either Genetics or Pscyh would be useful once you're in med school. But 18 credit hours might be a strain depending on the hours you work each week. The degree of challenge the course represents varies by campus and by instructor. If one of the two is not very time-intensive according to others who've taken the course, then go with that one.

You should listen to the kitty.

If you plan on taking other psych courses you will more than likely need to take intro to psych.

Genetics and Society sounds like a class where you'll have some fugly middle-aged sandal-wearing frizzy-haired obese flower-child preaching to you about how people with extra chromosomes are equally valuable members of the 'quilt of humanity' and should be treated with love and respect.

How about just not taking a class. Go out and breath some fresh air. Looking at your schedule makes me want to put a bullet into my face, and I'm just reading it. You have to live it.

Genetics and Society sounds like a Sociology, Anthropology, or Medical Humanities class. Granted, you should see if you need it to meet a social science/humanities requirement as it might suit your needs a Pre-med better than something like "Introduction to Political Science" - when it comes to that stuff its better to take a class relevant to your major and interests.

Looks like you have a pretty heavy schedule already.
