So I finished my first semester of medical school and I didn't do well in Medical Genetics or Biochem (metabolism). I was a non-science major in UG. Are these topics heavily tested on the USMLE? And if so, do you have any books that you can recommend that I use for prep? I am worried about the boards because I barely passed these courses.

Thanks!

All the biochem and genetics you need are in First Aid, provided you understand the concepts presented and can apply them. Kaplan Qbank or USMLEWorld can help you with the latter, as well as to pinpoint your weakness.
