Genetics trouble

I'm having so much trouble with some of this genetics stuff. I can't remember the differences between things like the operator, promoter, polymerase, and all of the other little things like that. It seems like there is so much information, and I just can't seem to remember it all. Anybody else having this problem? Anybody know of anything that helps to learn all of this?

I have lots of trouble with 20000000 terms in the plant section.. I try to associate terms with funny words.. Seems to help me
