First Aid does a great job of this.
Mode of inheritance, chromosome deletions, translocations, allele frequency calculations, and tree diagrams are without a doubt fair game on the real deal... Linkage analysis?... oh yeah! You betcha. "Big Time."
Most of the genetics questions that I saw were straight out of first aid, however, so rest-assured you do not need your PhD to answer most of these questions.
I'm not sure whether first aid covers PML t(15;17)... it gives you translocations for mantle cell, burkitts, folicular, and all of the other leuko/lympho what-have-nots. PML made its presence known at least once. Otherwise, classical genetics came straight out of first aid.
every exam/block is different, however, so it's probably smart to supplement with an additional source. You never know what you're gonna get. I'm too brain-fried to think of any supplemental guides right now, but the deeper it goes into molecular aspects of the disease, the better. OH YEAH! Dudek's Cell and Molec HY saved my butt on a lot of things that I had previously never heard of. Seriously, unless you are The Undisputed Heavy Weight Champion of Molecular Genetics, take a look at this book. It's the fastest read of the HY series but it's GOLD. Dudek rocks!
