I got the "highly select" status, and wrote the letter. And I'm waiting to hear. They aren't my #1 though.

The whole "highly select pool" thing seems a little ridiculous. Does Gtown have a normal waitlist too, or is this pool a funky replacement for a waitlist which requires a letter of intent?

I think the highly select list is their version of a waitlist. I wrote the letter too, i just want them to read it TODAY since I've started studying for the MCAT again and it is killing me.
