Is this thing on? Bueller . . . . Bueller . . . . Bueller . . . .

i'm in g'town. i don't know about american but if i could do it all over i would do it at a place closer to home (i'm from a small town) even though it's a less prestigious school. for one, the cost here is ridiculous, something around $1000 a credit hour (which is common in these private universities i guess), but the cost of living is so high here as well. second, you need good grades in these classes. so, if you had to get an A- at American or a B+ at G'town, the former looks better i think. the orgo here is not only a weed out course, but the biology here is as well from how my friends are doing. so don't take those two together. i have mixed feelings on physics, gen chem is ok though. not sure what else to say, i take it you're from around dc or else you wouldnt be asking about both american and g'town. despite this, if you can do well in the g'town program, go for that. if you're unsure and want to save money, go somewhere else. also, g'town just lowered the science course requirement load to 24 hrs (from 32 to 26 to 24) to get a LOR, so that is awesome.

I'm currently in DC, I go to law school here.

So all and all how are you fairing in the program?
