Georgetown MS - I need your help !


Sometimes living in Florida can be quite a pain. I am in desperate need of finding a place to stay for next Monday through Wednesday for my interview at Georgetown which is on Tuesday. I was supposed to fly out early Tuesday morning and return that evening, but because of the hurricane Ivan, I had to change my flight schedule. This is our third hurricane this summer in Florida and everyone is drained and tired.
Does anybody know of anyone who can host me next week?

I'm very sorry to hear that you are struggling not only with application process but with hurricanes as well. Have u tried calling GT people maybe they will offer you to stay at the dorm or with a student. I know that they do not have an official stay with a student program, but it is worth trying. yeah, try contacting some of the students on the list at the end of the interview info sheet... i'm sure you'll get something set up.

I didn't see any list of people who are hosting... the information packet contained a list of hotels though...

After the list of hotels -- there's a whole list of student hosts with email addresses and undergrad university (in case you want to stay with someone from your own school 🙂!) Good Luck!

I just checked my invite and there is NO list of students, just a list of hotels...

OK, I went back and checked the official invite -- here is the link. Just open it up and go to the end and you will find the hosts listed with email addresses.

Thank you but it looks like I won't be needing a host after all - the damn hurricane is going past us - God help Floridians !!
