I've applied to both Georgetown and George Washington. Can someone break down the pros/cons of each program.
Georgetown:
Historic campus atmosphere
Jesuit tradition
Holistic patient care is the focus and it IS emphasized
From my experience, G-Town's students are a bit more laid-back and less Gunner-like than most schools, but I don't know much about GWU students
Great school
GW:
City, large hospital institution atmosphere
Nicer, newer facilities than G-Town
Great school
When it comes down to it, you are going to learn the same material no matter what school you go to and the quality of professor's doesn't matter much because, in the end, you are teaching yourself everything anyway.
I'd give G-Town an edge for holistic care
GW an edge for newer facilities
