I just got my georgetown offer, and I have an interview at Vandy on the only date that I could possibly make.

I've heard varied things about both programs.

Would appreciate any input on which one I should take.

I don't know too much about either program and did not apply to either one, but I believe that Georgetown is currently on probation and according to my advisor this is something that you need to look into because there are many reasons a program can be on probation (some are really bad, some not too bad). I bring this issue up because I have an interview at a program that is also on probation and I am concerned about it. I don't know if this should necessarily be a deciding factor in where you should interview but it might be a factor for you to consider when you are deciding which interview to go on. Good luck in deciding!

georgetown is a jesuit school and doesn't do terminations. that sealed my decision.

I hope that you would consider taking your Vanderbilt interview. While I have yet to interview with Georgetown (its in Feb.) I have bene to Vanderbilt and I thought the school was excellent. The people and the facilities were nice and I could definitely see myself studying in Nahsville. If you have the time, I would interview with them just to potentially increase your options.
