Hi everyone, I just finished my finals this week and unfortunately got a C+, a C, and a B this quarter. I am now graduated. Do you guys think they would revoke my acceptance because of the two Cs?

I highly doubt it. Did it say the minimum grade you must obtain in your acceptance letter? I’m sure plenty of pre-dents get C’s the semester before starting dental school, and they don’t get their acceptance revoked.
They didn’t say anything in the acceptance letter. The only thing mentioned in the admission packet was to complete coursework indicated on aadsas and send the final transcript with degree confirmation. So I would assume that it’s ok?

Yes, I believe you’re fine. You passed the class and completed it, which is exactly what they required.

Call them and ask.
I don’t have the gut to call. But I think they don’t have legal reason to revoke though cuz all they said in the packet was to complete all the courses and get the degree. And I already satisfy the requirement so...

Don’t call and ask just submit your transcript and move forward...your doing exactly what it says in the admissions packets and most people’s grades trend down

Gotcha, thank you. Then I’ll just let it go since they don’t have legal reasons to revoke me as I’ve done what they say.

They probably won't revoke your admission, but you can't really talk about 'legal reasons' because they could literally revoke your admission for any reason or no reason.

Well if they could revoke for any or no reason, then they will be sued. The admission letter is a binding contract for both school and students. School can not revoke if the students fulfill all the requirements. If the schools can change their minds anytime they want for any reason, then what’s the point of sending out acceptance letter? They could totally tell the students who got the letters that it’s gonna be a game and your offer will be revoked for any reason. Let’s see who is the lucky guy. LOL

I remember at my interview, they said as long as you don't get C- in pre requisites, you shouldn't worry about anything else. Probably the same for you.

Wow. Why didn’t you go to law school?

Gotcha, thx. Maybe the same, cuz all they said was “complete planned coursework”.

I’d probably keep it to yourself that you’re ready to sue when breaching contract violation when you matriculate

I didn’t violate anything though. Cuz all they said was to complete courses and get the degree. That’s it.

Just to post it for ppl with the similar situation in the future, I just called the school and the admission staff confirmed that as long as I pass and get the degree, there should be no problem at all. So if there’s nothing on your letter saying you must maintain a certain gpa or some specific grade requirement, all you need to do is to pass with C or above, just to be safe. And you are good to go! No need to worry about being rescinded!
