Hi, SDN --

I've seen numbers and percentiles flung around, but thus far I've been largely in the dark here. I am wondering what sort of score on the new MCAT rouses the same enthusiasm as a 35 on the old MCAT? A 40? 30?

Do we know this yet?

I am assuming somewhere around a 513+ should put you there, comparing the old and current percentiles. My 509 is around a 31ish....

517 is about 35.
523 or better is 39+
30 is between 508 and 509.

You're being a little generous with thinking that 509 is a 31. Just as gyngyn stated, it will be viewed more as a 30.

I know there's a whole bunch of overlap and you can make a case it is a 31, but it looks more like a 30 when really looking at percentiles!
