I apologize if there are already other threads on this subject... but I'm starting to get anxious about hearing back from schools.

My AADSAS application bounced back and didn't go through till September (I took a few college courses during high school and didn't realize I needed to send that through as well). But out of the ~15 schools I've applied, I've only heard back from 3 (UDM - accepted; Uconn - rejected; and temple for interview). I'm not sure if I'm being rejected without notifications or my applications haven't been reviewed yet...

My stats are oGPA 3.74; sGPA 3.81 and DAT 22, nothing below 20. I have over 300 hours with dentists and 150 at hospital ER and other miscellaneous activities. No bad records during high school or college.

Is anyone else in this similar situation? Am I worrying too much?

Thanks for reading!

it never hurts to make a friendly request to the admissions office at the schools and ask about the status of your app....this way you have an answer and stop being anxious...also I'm pretty sure schools are gonna start moving with the process again in a couple of days now that holiday season is over

Dude you got in (and to an awesome school I might add). There are plenty of people without any acceptances. Start counting your blessings.

Don't have to worry. You are in a very good position. I had 1 pre-Dec interview but hearing crickets (most likely *hand sliding across neck*) and no post-Dec interviews yet. Ready to reapply next cycle.
Congrats on your acceptance and do well in school! 🙂

Our stats are very similar and my application was completed in October because of the stupidity of changing pre-health advisors over the summer. I have not had any post-dec interviews from 11 schools and no rejections. I'm also worried as you. I've had only one acceptance which was a DMD/PhD but I decided to drop the PhD so they will reconsider me for a DMD acceptance. Currently, I have no acceptances to dental schools but I am hoping to get some news maybe in a week or two...hopefully...!

If you contact individual schools, they will just say that your application is in the review process or they will not start reviewing until the first deposit deadline has passed (Dec. 1 for most if not all schools). Due to the holidays, I'm assuming Dec. 5 as the start date for review.

I wouldn't be worried. Your application didn't go through until September which is pretty late, and most schools do rolling admission, so a lot of them likely just haven't gotten around to your application yet.
