This idea occurred to me as I came across a qbank question involving giving a patient a carotid massage for their HTN.

I think this would be a great way to get relaxed and loose for the exam. Maybe have my headphones on and listen to the sweet serenading sounds of Goljan.

But I can certainly see this backfiring.

Anybody thought of, carried-out, or heard stories of this idea?

I'm going to get a massage the day before my exam. I suggest don't do anything crazy like deep tissue.. just get the gentle ones they offer. Leave Goljan at home.. that's going a little overboard.

Get one the day before your exam... not the day of.

yeah dont do it right before... youll be too relaxed to focus like you should i think.
day before sounds like a fgantastic idea

Day before or day after, for sure! I'd be way too relaxed to function if I did it right before the test...

I need a massage right now. Upper trapezius for sure. Had some mid-study period drama, which was totally unecessary. Wasted 2 whole days, 2 weeks before my scheduled exam. Had to reschedule to make up for the lost days. Stress sucks. 😡

New date of exam, June 21st. Argh, sucks to lose a weekend of relaxation, was hoping to have 2 weekends off before third year!

Time to get back at it hard. Good luck guys! See you on the flip side.
