I have my L'sOR, will be getting transcript once semester ends, but i just need to write my personal statement. Is there anything else i need? also, with reference to personal statement; what should i include beside the " i want to be a dentist?" r there any other elements of the statement that i should focus on? i know this seems broad, i apologize but need clarification. thanks.

That's pretty much what you need as far as your application is concerned. In regards to your personal statement I would also include any direction(s) you may want to take your career in (such as academics, public health, etc.), what you will contribute to the student body at your school, and so on. Also, try not to make your statement a shopping list of accomplishments nor have it reiterate your transcripts and other materials in your application - it is the one place where you, the applicant, have a chance to speak for yourself outside of all the numbers and stats in your file. Think about what you would like adcoms to know about you, the person, and why you would be a good fit for their school and then expound upon that in your essay. 👍
