So I've been studying for my DAT for over a month, and it's in about 3 weeks. My practice test scores SUCK. I mean 14 on the sciences and 19 on the rest of the sections. I've been doing Destroyers and going over every wrong answer, but to no avail.

If you had 3 weeks left and were in my shoes, how would you review to get the maximum score. And to those of you who are DAT experts, will it be possible to raise my grade from a 14 on the sciences to 20 in 3 and a half weeks? Or should I consider postponing…?

Thanks

I recommend using Qvault for Bio, and I'm not sure how it is for all of the other sciences. Go over every single question thoroughly and if you see an answer choice that you are unfamiliar with, look it up!

What tests are you using that you're getting the 14s in? If you are breaking up destroyer questions into science tests (40 bio, 30 chem, 30 ochem), then you are ok, you're supposed to get destroyed. I'm not sure what you are using, but I recommend the 2007 & 2009 ADA practice test, and Bootcamp. If you're scores are still 17s and below, maybe consider rescheduling. Don't wait until last minute it costs more to reschedule then.

I'm not sure how those tests are because I've never taken them. Maybe take the 2007 ADA sample test and see how that goes. If it's bad, postpone. You may want to study the sciences again before diving into practice tests. Watch chads, read AP cliffs, and use any other source you get your hands on. 3 weeks is a short time to really boost your score if you haven't studied all the material thoroughly.

crack dat science is a lot tougher than normal DAT because its extremely random. Try bootcamp test to base where your at.
