getting depressed

I want to bring another factor. Many people say that high GPA can compensate low MCAT somewhat. But as we know, GPA can be inflated or deflated based on your undergraduate school. I don't know whether the medical school admission weighs the GPA based on the undergraduate school you attend.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I'm sitting at a whopping 1 II so far with a mid-30's MCAT and 3.9. It's a long process (longer for some more than others). Hold in there, there are plenty of interviews still to be had.

I have no doubt you will get in, even if you are from Cali the odds are still in your favor. Do not get too sad when the process is not even over yet 🙂

also, I have a 31 MCAT and a 3.9+ GPA so I have essentially the same stats.

3.4 GPA 31 MCAT and current AmeriCorps member.

If I can get 2 II, I'm sure you'll get 6. Hang in there.
