My current GPA is 3.2 and I scored a 16/16 on the DAT, but I am taking them again in September and starting a Kaplan course in a week, do you think the dental schools may look at my score and just say no, even tho I do plan on taking them again!!!! I have also shadowed a dentist for the past year and half.

ndn82,

Most schools look for a 18/18 min, so you need 19's accross to be considered comeptitive. indicate on your application that you are intending to retake the DAT and also give them the estimated date. if you have submitted your application already, send and call each school and ask them to hold any decision on your application till you have retaken the DAT. good luck to you.

My friend,

I PM me and i'll help you. dont waste your time and money with the kaplan course, get your money refunded (and put it towards your AADSAS application and interviews!)
