Hello,
I am having a bit of trouble with my studies. I will be a second semester sophomore in the fall, but i am having so much trouble with my GPA. I have 36 credit hours now with a 2.79 GPA. I take my finals next week and feel as if my GPA will drop to a 2.5. I know I can still bring it up to a 3.5, but I also know that will be very hard to do for me. I do plan on applying to mainly D.O. programs, with a few M.D. programs in mind as well. I will also be graduating a year late in 2021, instead of 2020 to try and boost my GPA by taking less classes a semester. I have a lot of clinical experience and volunteer hours. I will be studying abroad and I was in the military for two years. I will also have a minor in chemistry and criminology. What I am trying to ask is what can I possibly do to make my self stand out and get accepted into med school if I have a low GPA (3.0-3.3).

If you have an upward trend meaning your GPA for each semester just keeps getting better and better and destroy the MCAT, you should be good at least for the DO schools.
