hey guys... im scheduled to take my oat on aug 30th and have yet to send out my application (i hope to enroll for fall of 2008). am i taking the oat very late?? and will i be at a disadvantage because my appliations not in early enough? i just thought that they dont look at ur application until everything is in, so i figured i didnt have to work on it yet. someone just told me though that the earlier its in the better.. even if its not complete!! HELP MEE , i hope to get into suny but i hope im not falling behind

I've talked with some people at Nova who said that I would be fine sending mine in in October. I'm not sure about SUNY, though.

From things I've heard - earlier is better. I would apply and just let them know your OAT date and to be expecting your results!

I did an internship at SUNY and from my understanding, you are entering the "late period" if you still do not have a complete application by January.. however, the admissions director said that we should strive for as early as possible.. They begin accepting as early as October I believe. I am also planning to apply to SUNY and have yet to take the OAT and send my application in.. My application is almost ready to be sent out, but my LOR from the pre-med committee won't be ready until late october🙁. Goodluck!

did you fil out the online application, or the paper? i noticed they're a little different. The online one has no real section for a personal statement which confuses me... theres only one part where we have a 500 word limit to respond to. also, are u gona send ur applciation in without the LOR or do u think u shoudl wait for everythign to be readyand send it all in at once?? GOOD LUCKKKK!! hopefully we'll be classmates!! haha
