after taking several practice exams... i have realized that i usually get more questions wrong at the end of each section....
i am getting more questions wrong at the end of sections... but i still finish on time... (but not for verbal... i end verbal with 1 second to spare)
why is that?
what should i do about this?
what type of issue is this that i should address?
thanks

I think i might know the problem. Sometimes i feel the same way and it is probably because i start the test well. So i feel confident and feel really good and working with a great pace. However, sometimes towards the middle/end i start getting "too cute" with the answers and lose my aggressiveness. Probably because i feel that i worked with a great pace and now i have extra time. Because of this feeling i start getting too cautious with the answers and DOUBTING myself and perhaps go against my FIRST INSTINCT just to double/triple check because of extra time. Not sure if you have the same problem but seems like there is something to it.

I also started to feel rushed towards the end...either time was running low or I just wanted to finish.

Just take a deep breath when you get to those last questions and tell yourself that every question counts. My Kaplan teacher told us...you get the same points for easy and hard questions so make sure you get the easy ones right. The same applies to early and late questions. Nobody will be impressed if you got all 39 of the first questions right and missed the last 13 [exaggeration but you get the point]. Be confident and careful on each question just in case you can't return to it.

With verbal you just have to know when to cut and run...if one passage is taking too long make your best guess and keep it moving. This is one section where you should really stick to the 8 min/passage rule if possible...then come back if you have extra time.
