Some of us had it really tough during undergrad.. working full-time and stuff and still graduated. Some of us just didn't have the leisure of having enough money. Some of us had to live alone. Some of us didn't have parents. Some of us had parents or loved ones who died. Yet, still graduated and worked full-time. That's what I call hard work and effort.

Very true, I worked full-time too throughout my academic career. First one to graduate from a college and money is always a problem. 🙁

I'm a year out from applying, and the closer it gets to time to apply, the more I fear not getting into dental school. I don't know why, I think I'm just freaking myself out. Also due to the fact that I'm just an average applicant right now and had a "come to jesus" meeting with myself this summer. If I don't get in the first time I apply, I'm going to keep trying to improve my stats and keep applying!

thats an EXTREMELY insensitive thing to bring up.... people spend alot of time, energy and money applying.... it not ur place to come here and indirectly mock them

Oh, I don't care. If I wasn't so successful in life, I might actually be upset by your posts. But, I'm perfectly fine with my application outcomes from 2 cycles ago. The year off gave me time to obtain a Master's and win 7 national merit scholarships to pay for dental school (or my MBA program, if I don't get into dents) and living costs. Lol, you're gonna have to dig a lot deeper to offend me.
