Hey guys,

I'm applyin for the next cycle and I've been talkin to a few of my advisors and everyone is telling me to get more experience - as in hands one experience besides just doing the normal volunteering hours/shadowing etc. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction of finding some opportunities in the los angeles/southern california region that I can do so

Try volunteering at a free dental clinic, some let predents assist. This is what I did for few months.

Try a dental mission trip if thats available to you, just another option and quite the opportunity.

I went on one of their dental trips to Nicaragua. I got great hands-on exposure to dentistry, and it definitely helped boost my application!🙂
