Hi, I am working on my personal statements for an ostepathic school of medicine, any advice? I am applying to allopathic schools as well, is that a minus?

I would first concentrate why you want to become a Doctor...And then mention briefly why osteopathic medicine..you'll have plenty of opportunities to express your feeling of osteopathic med in your secondary apps..so you dont need to go in heavy detail on the osteopathic medicine portion...And also..try to finish soon..its getting late in the app cycle..Good luck..happy holidays..

Osteopathic schools have no way of knowing you applied to Osteopathic and vice versa.

Unless they ask you to list it in the secondary app...like NSUCOM.. 😉
