Getting to PCOM GA?

Hey all, I had a question for those of you who have been, or who attend PCOM-GA. What is the best way to get to the school? Is there a shuttle that goes from atlanta to Suwanee? How much is a taxi?

atlanta is not known for public transportation, and everyone drives. Do yourself a favor and rent a car. Go to your interview and then explore the city before you leave.

I am currently attending GA-PCOM and I comute from Atlanta to Suwanee every morning. Not only is ATL not known for public transportation, it IS known for some of the worst traffic in the country.

My suggestion is not to stay in Atlanta if possible. Two close towns to the school are Lawrenceville and Duluth both with reasonable hotels such as Hampton Inn and Holday Inn. I believe if you stay at the Hampton Inn in Duluth and mention the school you might get a discount, but don't hold me to that. If you stay in Atlanta, you risk the possibility of a bad accident or just bad traffic in general and you don't need anymore stress on a medical school interview day.
