Anybody know much about GHA?

They are no longer hiring people to partnership tracks.
They pay you $180-200.
Basically they want to get rich off your labor just because they have the contract and you don't. Typical big group, only worse.

Nice.

They seem to dominate Houston.
Any reputable groups in the Houston area?

This is not entirely accurate information. From what I have seen, they are offering $180-$200K for mommy track positions taking no call and working till 3. I know this because I asked them. They are willing to cater to what you want to earn coming out of residency and are pretty flexible with their different plans. If you want to know more about them, I would suggest calling them yourself (they have multiple groups within the larger whole) and get a feel for youself. Hope that helps.

Makes me wonder what the original partners in the parent company are pulling in... probably SICK amounts.

Maybe they're better than I heard. Do you know anything about their partnership track? I hear that they aren't hiring anyone to partnership tracks right now, but that it's 5 years if/when partnership tracks get started again? That's pretty long, but it matters a lot less if you get a good income during the partnership track (unlike Austin for example).
I've heard that GHA is accommodating before, but I don't know how that would work. Each subgroup covers a hospital or two plus some surgery centers, right? So it would seem to function like lots of small groups with limited flexibility unless people can work across multiple subgroups. If you know, how does it work?
