So, I had an interview at Georgia Health Sciences University in november, and today got a letter in the mail informing me that I didn't get in. I'm on the wait list, but am pretty bummed...really wanted to go there.

Has anyone else heard back yet?

People who got in, do you mind sharing your stats?

I've got a 3.8 undergrad GPA
4.0 pre-rec GPA (so far...only have 2 classes left. chem II this semester, and physics II next semester. I have taken most of my pre-recs at community college...maybe this didn't help me?)
GRE was three years old with a 650 verbal 690 quantitative
Over 3000 hours (worked as a PT Tech for the past 2.5 years), planning on volunteering inpatient over the winter break.
I felt really good about my interview too... bummer.

insight anyone?

Like I just told another person, Don't sweat it, It's to early in the process. Schools have a lot of people to interview and they leave a lot of seats open til the end so if you interview early you have a higher chance of being put on the wait list.

Focus on doing well at your other interviews (I'm assuming with your stats you have some) and don't give up on GHSU yet.

I'm a current student there. Generally the way our interview process works is the sooner the get your application in/interview, the better your chances are as it is a rolling admission process. So depending on when you interviewed in November, the class might have been full.
Call Amanda and find out where you are on the wait list. In my class, we have about 4 or 5 people that were accepted off the wait list. Don't sweat it. As other schools start accepting people, already accepted people will drop out.
