I don't recall, but did he describe how we should do this in the video message? Besides getting more physicians into congress, this was the best idea I've heard of in years (not offering services to lawyers).

I think he might have mentioned that our societies need to make this call now that I think of it. I would donate until it hurt if the ASA started to go down this road. I would even join the AMA if they did this.
