Hi Guys,
Congrats on everyone getting interview offers today! We did it 🙂)
So, I am so fortunate to have been accepted to 4 schools: NYU, Temple, Boston, and Buffalo. I think they are all fantastic schools and I have no idea where I want to go. I am in the process of making a pros and cons list. I was also fortunate enough to be offered an interview to Tufts on December 4th. I am not sure if I should spend the time and money getting there. Yes, I have the money to get there, but it is expensive plus I need to take time off work. I know it is very lucky to even get this opportunity, but from all of you guys that have been seen the facilities of Tufts, do you think it is worth the trip? I have read all about it, but what is the atmosphere like? If you were in my position, would you go there?
Hope you all can give me some insight! 🙂

I too have a post December interview at Tufts (Dec. 8th). I also have been fortunate enough to get 4 acceptances today. Tufts is my #1 choice simply because Boston provides the best job opportunities for my fiance.

Any idea how quickly I could expect an answer from Tufts after my interview is completed?

I wouldnt bother unless for some reason tufts is your dream school...you got into good schools

I have heard good things about it. Have you been there? Maybe you could shed some light on what the school is like in person? 🙂

It's a very beautiful school, very friendly staff and students. My point is, unless tufts is one of the op's top choices, I wouldn't bother spending the money and time because he already got into cheaper schools that are as good as tufts.

That is true. It is moreso I'm scared I'll be missing out on an opportunity. And only one school out of the four is cheaper than tufts 😉

ah i see im been talking to the op all along lol. If your going to feel that way, then just go so you don't feel any regrets later.

Personally, I LOVED Tufts. In my opinion, the only downside is the cost of tuition. The facility is beautiful and everyone is very friendly. It's located right in downtown Boston and has amazing views of the city throughout the school.

To give you a idea for a timeline, I interviewed on 11/24 and they said we'd have an answer on 12/8.

Anyways, you are fortunate that you are in a wonderful position with your other acceptances. I agree with the people above me....if Tufts is your dream school, then go! If not, you can save your money 🙂 Congrats on the interview and acceptances!

Thank you for the insight! Hope you hear good news on Dec 8 🙂

No brainer. Go to Buffalo. It is the cheapest.
