Hey, I was wondering if it's sufficient to just use goljan audio for the path portion of step 1. I would supplement it with UWorld questions. I'd love to read his rapid review book, but my test is in 4 weeks, and I don't have time to spend on such a big book. My path performance is considerably low, and since path is an important component, I want to find a source that's quick, but sufficient. Would it be better to read BRS path? I heard Goljan gives extremely good advice and compares diseases in his audio, so maybe he's more helpful? I don't want to seem like I'm willingly neglecting path, but with so much to do, and so little time, I'm hoping for good advice! Thanks in advance!

I've been annotating in RR with notes from his lectures (OMG annotating in RR?!?! Blasphemy!!!)

I feel that RR doesn't explain some of conceptual points enough, and I also write in the margins my own "blue RR notes," if he says something that's important that isn't listed in the section.

To answer your question, I don't think that his lectures alone are enough. Perhaps if you also used his note files and questions, etc. that he handed out that particular year for his review course it would be sufficient. You might miss a few points just because of the fact that the material is a little aged, but from what it sounds like, you don't have much to lose.

Thanks for your reply! When you say "note files", roughly how many pages of notes are there? I'm trying to search for these notes online, but there is so much goljan material from audio transcripts, to personal notes that people have made, so it would be easier if I knew what I was looking for. Also, i found 180 goljan questions...is that what you are referring to?
