does anybody know where i can buy/download this from.
I ve tried to download it with bit torrent but its so slow, and keeps cutting out.
I dont mind buying it, provided its from a legitimate site. using pay pal.

sorry to jump all over this, but it is a violation to ask about downloading/acquiring these illegal sources on this forum.

however, i would highly recommend his Rapid Review Path book...solid source, lots of good pictures and captions, and extremely high yield. you will gain a good understanding of pathophys after taking your time to go thru this book.

That's a bit harsh! Why is it a violation to even ask? The OP is English and wouldn't know that any available online copies aren't legit and probably has no where else other than this forum to ask. You ask 99.9% of UK med students about Goljan and they will have no idea what you are talking about, the vast majority don't even know what the USMLE is.

Well, when someone admits they tried to download something with torrent already, it should be clear they aren't that concerned about the copyright implications. So no, I don't think the prior poster's post was all that harsh.
This is copyrighted material. It is illegal to download, and legitimate sites like SDN don't want to be involved in directing folks to where they can violate US copyright laws. These laws have serious implications and penalties. The dude sells books legitimately that contain all of the info from these tapes, so that is the avenue you can legitimately pursue. That most folks in the UK don't know the name of an individual some are stealing from by copying these tapes doesn't make it less egregious.

i def didnt want to sound harsh, sorry if i did!

but i wanted to let the OP and any other SDN posters reading these posts to know the limitations on SDN. you can ask, but you should not get a positive response from this forum. there have been numerous threads on this topic in the past, and in some threads, there are posters that in some way help the OP with these requests (also a violation of TOS). similar thing happens when people post NBME questions...most of us have done this only to realize later that from the perspective of this forum, its not something we should do, and its probably best for other posters to know what the limitations should be. there are plenty of other usmle forums that seemingly have no moderators and its basically a free for all, im sure not the way we'd like SDN to be.

The OP asked if there was anywhere to download or BUY them from! How was he/she meant to know that the guy himself doesn't have a website that he sells them from? Us UK folk literally know nothing about the USMLE, (the books, the review courses etc) unless we learn it from this site so if someone doesn't know something then don't have a go when they try and find out. You lot are surrounded by all this from day 1 of med school, we know nothing about any of it! My point about people in the UK not having heard of him was to show that the OP literally has no one else they can ask about this!

The OP asked this after already trying to download it. Had OP asked if there was a legal way to obtain this first, s/he would be on better footing and your response might make sense. But we have an old saying in the US, which actually was derived from English law, "ignorance of the law is no defense". It is your duty to know if something is copyrighted BEFORE you try to download it, or before you ask folks to help you find where else you can download it.
At any rate now you, and anyone else in the UK who frequents this site, know that it is copyrighted material. As are pretty much any published material that the author does not himself put on the web and say "help yourself". Free books and tapes are thus few and far between in medicine.

most of the people I know who have used goljan have obtained copies of his audio files from other students who used them...word of mouth, and some cd's floating around...so I've heard. 🙄

Firstly don't call me Barbie.

Secondly why do any of you use this forum when you seem to have such a huge problem with people asking questions when they actually don't know something and want to find out?
