I still have a couple months left in my second year year and I am looking to start board review. I was wondering what source of those mentioned above is worth going over and over before I start my board study in may. i guess this question is more for those who took step 1 already. can you folks comment on which source is worth going over now and why. thanks.

It might be worth taking a look through first aid. That will give you an idea of the areas that you're weak in and may need supplemental material for. It doesn't hurt to start doing questions now (the more you do the better), but it might be a little early in terms of being able to retain the info, and the qbanks can be expensive to keep buying/renewing.

BRS physio is a good read and might be a nice way to review and solidify the physiology you've learned the past couple years. Though most of the questions I encountered were path, so many of them could be reasoned out with a solid understanding of the physiology.

I've been through BRS path and I'm now going through Goljan-- haven't taken the boards yet, though. I really like Goljan. I've heard from our third years that either resource is solid, you'll do fine using either one, it's a matter of preference, but I do think it's an amazing resource. I think that the pictures are better, it's better organized, it's explains the pathophysiology better.

Most of the info that you'd need on the test comes from BRS Path, BRS Physio, and First Aid. After that, you just need to do some questions. It's hard to stick with just these materials, but if you start will those, you will be fine.

what I have been doing is first aid, goljan and qbank but only in classes we covered this year. Lately I have been trying to add in a new subject every week but at a veryyy slow pace (it is hard when we still have module exams,ECs etc) but I think a little bit adds up. Some adivce i got from a third year was to do 5 questions a night right now and listen to goljan. He said even that little bit will help
