As it turns out, surgisphere is not the best review course... does anyone have a good resource for text/practice questions of ABSITE to recommend? Thanks...

You should ask WS what she thinks about surgisphere......

Anyway, "The ABSITE Review" by Fiser is the absolute best book. You can find this information and more in the "Real Surgery FAQs" thread.

if you are a good test taker- all you need to review is the absite killer.
i think this "book" is out on the web in pdf format to be pirated
Of course, I realized absite killer was sufficient for all my study needs AFTER the fact.
(as a matter of fact, absite killer is all you need for the real written boards too!)

if you arent as gifted in test taking or dont read a chapter or so weekly during residency, then there are more comprehensive books out there.

i bought the one with the yellow cover. I liked that one.

fiser book has alot fans (i thought it was too dense, like reading an encyclopedia)

also, i saw like 3 new books on amazon for absite. check them out.

another good help- going over old questions from your seniors.
they ask the same stuff over and over,
...just like on the real written boards
...just like on the real oral boards
